Read Much?!?!

Going into this year, one of my goals was to make time to read more.  At the time, I thought I had read about 70 books.  In fact, that's what I told Sara.

I lied.

I read 115 books in 2009...though a few were "re-reads".  This year, I'm going to let you all know (once a week or so) what I've been reading.  Please know that I occassionally read books that inspire intelligent thought.  But most of the time - it's chick lit.  Don't say I didn't warn ya!  :-)

  2. I love how you listed all of your books for 2009. I'm an avid reader and can't remember all the books that I've read in 2009 but I have made it a goal to read and finish at least 2 books or more a month for this year. One that I read last year that I loved is Same Kind of Different as Me. (Forgive me for not remembering the authors names.) That was one I could read over again. Right now, I'm reading the Help so that will go on my 2010 list. I like books in all areas. Some of the ones that you've listed, I've read but quite a few, I haven't.

  3. That's a pretty big list! I wish I had written down all of the ones that I read but now I honestly can't remember all of them off of the top of my head, that's why I only listed my faves on my blog.

Anyway, did you just love the Sookie Stackhouse series? It's one of my all time favorites. And the House of Night series is pretty good too, I'm on a waiting list at the library for the newest one.

I just had an exploding water pipe and now I have no water for the second time in a week. : ) Your New Buddy, Carolyn
