Tuesdays At The Table - Parmesan Pretzel Rods

Happy Tuesday!  A big welcome to all the fabulous ladies that commented that last week was their first time participating.  :-)

This week I'm sharing one of my new favorite snacks (found here).  They are so yummy and so easy!

Lovely Yellow Ribbons

Parmesan Pretzel Rods

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
6 tablespoons butter, cut in small pieces
1/4 cup olive oil
1 package (10 oz) pretzel rods

On a small plate, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregeno and cayenne; set aside.  In a small saucepan , heat the butter and olive oil until the butter melts.  Coat about 2/3 of the pretzel rod in butter/oil, then roll in cheese mixture.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 270 for 20-25 minutes, turning once.

Let cool and nibble away!

What's cooking in your kitchen?
