Musical Monday - Let It Snow

Happy Monday, fabulous ladies!

I can't believe that it's snowed twice this weekend!! This is nuts. There were a few flakes on Friday night, then about an inch or so (or more in come places) on Sunday. Un-freaking-believable!!

To quote my friend Stina from work: "It's official. Winter beat up fall, stole her lunch money and her place in line." I love her!!

I have a love/hate relationship with snow. It's pretty. It's fun to play in. But dang it, it's a pain in the keister to shovel most of the time and driving in it is never a joy. What are your thoughts on snow?

I've decided to go with my impromptu little theme - and share Dean Martin's version of Let it Snow.

Other than the anomalous weather, this weekend has been pretty good. I ran some errands, did a little cleaning and made a trip to Michael's. I am ADDICTED to buying yarn! Yes, I know I'm weird. Does anyone else lose control of their budget when in a craft store?!?!

  1. I completely agree with you about snow-pretty, but terrible to drive in even after it's done!

  2. Here where we live, snows every 25 years and the last time it snowed was in 1997 so I guess I am safe for now! Cold weather is not for me!

  4. Wow, snow? I'm sooooooooooooo jealous. I'm sitting here all happy because it's only 50 degrees this morning. And you get SNOW. That is soooooooooooooo not fair.

Yarn. I wouldn't know what to do with it. What are you going to do with your huge pile of it?

  5. I'm so jealous that you have snow where you are. I have never seen snow.

P.S. you just got a million points in my book for posting a Christmas song. I definitely played it and danced around. yay Christmas!

  6. So jealous of the snow you are getting! It never snows here...ever. I love snow but then again that may be because I never have to deal with it (i.e. shovel it, drive in it, etc.). I always pray for a little snow but it just never comes. :(

  8. Bring from the south, I'm so jealous of snow. But I'm sure I'd have that same love/hate with it if it ever came to shoveling! 2 inches of snow here and they close schools and offices. :)

  9. You just made me so grateful that it's 40 degrees here! At least it's not snowing yet!!!

I totally lose all self control in Hobby Lobby. I can manage okay in Michael's but Hobby Lobby makes me lose my mind. Especially at Christmas! I am dying to go there but know it won't be pretty!

  10. I hear you 100%, love the snow because it is fun and beautiful to watch fall. However, I HATE driving in it and avoid it at all costs. I love snow days when we are all home from school and playing outside with the neighbors!

  11. I know that I am getting older because I hate snow

  12. For some reason this year I was ready for snow way early. I think it's because summer was just kind of lame. Too cold and raining all the time. Maybe winter will be more appropriate. We haven't had any snow yet, but it has been cold, so maybe soon.

  14. We had snow last night in Massachusetts, too. About 2 inches, but it melted today. I like it right up until Christmas. After that, I'm tired of it and am ready to go to Florida!

  15. Wow I can't believe it's snowing where you are. Usually we're the ones up here who get it first! I use to love the snow when I was little, making snow angels, forts and going sledding. Now I cannot stand it. Great musical selection.
