"It's OK" Thursday...

This is my first time linking up with the lovely Neely and Amber for "It's OK" Thursday.  You should go visit her and the others that linked up.  :-)

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK...

....That someone on Twitter commented that the blog world has become oversaturated, and I completely disagree. I like discovering new people, and feel everyone has something to say.

....That I haven't slept more than 2 hours per night for the past week.  Sleep is over-rated, right?

....That I won't see my house for a month.  Taking care of my mom while she recovers from knee replacement surgery is worth it.

....That I'm super excited that my back steps will be replaced this week.  Bye, bye brick.  Hello, flagstone!  Other home repairs are just gonna have to wait until I'm back at my house.

....That someone keeps baking banana bread for me, and as soon as she leaves - I have to throw it away.  I don't have the heart to tell her that she is, in fact, the worst cook I've ever met.

....That I didn't realize until 9 o'clock last night that I hadn't had anything to eat of drink at all yesterday.

....That either my Kindle or knitting needles are in my hands at all times.  I have fabulously strong fingers because of it! :-)

What's OK with you today?

  1. You're so sweet taking care of your mom! :) and i looove flagstone, that's gonna look great!

  2. Oversaturated? Wow, I disagree as well. I love finding new blogs! Besides, a lot of bloggers end up quitting anyway, so new ones just replace those bloggers.

Which reminds me, I hope you'll participate in my No Rules Blog Tour #2 :-)

  3. I know there are people who think the blog world is oversaturated, but I'm grateful for the variety!

  4. Did you do a before and after shot?

  5. Ummm ... 2 hours of sleep a night ... that would not be okay with me {this gal needs her 8 hours of beauty sleep :)}.

ps. wishing your mom a speedy recovery!

  6. I completely disagree with the oversaturated comment too. I know for myselft tha alot of my old blog friends have either quit or barely post anymore so when I did the link up a couple weeks ago I was able to find more blogs I enjoy and other girls that are at the same crossroads as me (getting married, newlyweds, house hunting, etc.)

  7. ooooh I wish I knew how to knit! Thanks for linking up girl :)

  8. I hope your mother recovers soon and smoothly! I also agree with your comment about new blogs - love them!

  9. I love blog world! The more the merrier ;)

Oh & I have that friend too! I just don't have the heart either!

I love this blog hop I need to join up next week!

  10. Love my kindle! Thanks for linking up!

  11. aww I love the blog world, there can never be too many blogs. i learn so much from others! i hope your mom recovers quickly :o) ... as for your baker friend, eep. =/ i wouldn't know how to handle that.

  12. I'm behind on reading, partly because my own mom was here visiting. Anyway, glad your mom is doing well, and I hope you've gotten some sleep by now!

  13. In the winter, I knit all the time! Have fun with your Mom!

I LOVE comments! Tell me what you're thinking. :-)
