Thirty Days of Thankful - Blogging

I hope everyone had a fun-filled and sweet Halloween!  November has rolled around and while I was on vacation, I put some thought into doing a "Thirty Days of Thankful" challenge.  It was all the rage a few years ago.  But I was on a bloggy hiatus and I regret not participating.  So, here I am!

Some days will be serious, some days will be sarcastic...and some days will just be fun! Heck, a time or two, you just might get my favorite quotes about giving thanks! If anyone is doing something similar, please let me know!  I'd be thrilled to read what you're thankful for.

Day one...blogging

That's right, I'm starting simple.  When I came back to blogging after a hiatus, it was for a few reasons.  First and foremost, I missed the people.  Some of my favorite people live in the computer! I missed the connection.  Even if you are so very far away physically - I know that you're all just a blog post or a comment away.  For a shy person like myself, just knowing you're there makes an impact.

My secondary reason was purely selfish.  More than I missed all of you - I missed the chapter of my life where I felt comfortable - even excited to share my life online.  The creative outlet of blogging left a void in my life.

Thanks to bloggy friends old and new for welcoming me back with open arms.  It means so much to me!

  2. I think we all need a little break now and then. If it becomes a chore, rather than a joy, I take a break.
