Christmas Cards

Is it too early to think about Christmas cards? I usually find something cute, and think the one below might be a winner this year.

If you walk verrrry softly

in really quiet shoes --
you just might have a shot at getting
your paws on those sugar cookies
that were left out for Santa
Shhhhhh!
Merry Christmas

However, I have this idea for custom cards this year. It would require that I get really good pictures of all the pups, find a vendor to work with and get moving quick...but I know if I don't do it this year, I'll forget about it.

How about you. Do you send Christmas cards? Do you like receiving Christmas cards?

  1. I've already ordered our cards. I'm probably too organized about this! I love getting cards from everyone. Especially the cards with photos.

  2. I do still send Christmas cards, but not too many. I like to buy them after the Christmas season is over and they're on clearance.

That one is toooooo cute! You could always take the picture of your babies this year and plan to use it for next year's card :-)

  3. I just posted about my christmas card! I didn't have a picture to use this year. I felt dorky using just a picture of the 2 of us. But I love what I found for this year and I don't have to sign our name because it's printed on there already! I enjoy sending cards and I love getting them! That's probably why I do it!

It is funny because I receive around 100 cards and my mom... ZERO!

  7. Toooooo cute!! And last year when my hubby and I tried to take a picture with our 2 puppies, it took many a pictures before we found a decent one, but I'm sure yours are much more behaved than mine :)

  9. OMG, that card is adorable! I think you should take the pups to a park or something and try and get some great pictures of them. You'll have to get down on the ground to do it, but it'd be worth it. Every year Jimmy takes pics of the girls, then has them made into photo cards at Walmart.

  10. Cole, you can make a customized card yourself by using Send Out Cards! No need to worry about finding a vendor, getting the cards made then addressing them - you can create a card by uploading the JPEG file of your picture, create a heartfelt greeting. Then Send Out Cards will print the card, stuff it in an envelope and mail it for you. All of this for $2 or less per card. To see more information, see this blog post:

  11. Yes I've been sending out Christmas cards with a family photo or photo of my kids for 10 years. I'm so happy I did because its fun to look back at the kids ( now 22 and 20 ). I love the comment before me and I think I'm gonna try that company this year. That is if I do get that elusive great picture!!
P.S. I love your graphic background! I have the same one on my blog!!!
