New Moon (The Twilight Saga)

I have a confession to make.

I've been sucked in by all things Twilight. The books? Read all four in under 3 days (total; not 3 day a piece). Twilight the movie? Saw it 3 times in the theater. Then pre-ordered it on DVD as soon as it was an option.

The next movie in the saga comes on on November 20th....and my crew has had a count down going for MONTHS! We already have the tickets pre-ordered and in our hot little hands. Yep, we're fanatics - but organized. So organized that we decided to not only go to the movies, but to go "de lux". Yep, the 21+ theater with comfy couches and adult beverages for us whilst ogling Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Peter Facinelli.
We rock. At least, we think so! :-)

So, have you been sucked in too? And, are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?

SHARE!!!!

  1. I FINALLY got around to watching TWILIGHT. I really enjoyed it.
Looking forward in the sequel and I can't wait for the new season of TRUE BLOOD which is still months and months away.

  2. Oh I have most definitely been sucked in. You want to know what is item #1 on my Christmas list? The remaining Twilight series books that I don't own! Chris read that and just groaned at me, ha ha :-)

And I'm definitely on Team Edward!

  5. I'm sucked in.

I'm on team whoever's on the screen at that moment.

We too have our tickets - for the midnight show. In fact, we're seeing the midnight show, with a special pre-screening of Twilight before New Moon starts.

Oh yes, I am right there with you.

  6. the fact that I get shear excitement over a cover of Vanity Fair or People magazine with the New Moon cast on it only proves that I am sucked in..... big time! lol

  7. Who isn't sucked in at this point? Those who say they aren't, are just in denial. LOL jk, I can't make up my mind as far as teams. I hate bella for that!

  8. Welcome to the club! I totally got sucked in last Christmas break. I read all four books over my vacation. Then had to see the movie. Then see the movie again. Honestly, I wasn't too impressed with the first movie, but the second one looks AWESOME. And yes, I have plans with a friend to see it ASAP. Granted, we do not have a 21+ theater, and that sounds FABULOUS.

Oh, and I was Team Jacob through books two and three. Four kind of turned me back toward Edward.

  10. I am completely undecided with which TEAM I am on!!

I mean I can actually lust over Edward and not feel guilty... Jacob is just so young.... but gosh, I love them both!!

And I think its a great idea to go to the "grown-up" theatre to watch this movie!!! We have one of those too and I think that sounds like a GREAT idea!! T Minus 14 days and counting!!

  11. I am SO VERY sucked in...The books in under a week..Unfortunately, hubbie is NOT into Twilight, so I had to wait for the DVD before seeing Twilight in the movies. I AM going to see New Moon at Alamo (which is the eat dinner/have drinks theatre)!

  12. TEAM EDWARD, by far. He is my boyfriend after all. I cannot wait!!

  13. As part of your crew, I am especially excited!! Remember when we went and saw HP6 and saw the New Moon preview?! yeah...The 21+ is the only way to go if it's an optiton....TOTALLY worth the money! AND, FYI: 15 Days till we see them!

And i almost forgot: Although I appreciate the glorious new body exhibited by Jacob, I thoroughly prefer Edward (even if he is a bit possessive at times...) :)

  14. Hahah, I was totally sucked in. I'm torn between the two. Personally I think the relationship/addiction between the two of them is a little creepy, so I lean towards Jacob.

  15. To be honest, I just haven't been into this series! I had to read it for one of my library classes last semester. It wasn't a hard read and I get why kids like it, but it just didn't appeal to me. Not sure why, just not my taste I guess. In fact when I finished reading the first one, I googled the one question I wanted an answer to and I was satisfied. I would like to see the movie if only to compare it with the book.

  16. I can not wait for the movie to come out I have been watching all the trailors over and over trying to get as much of it as I can. My husband does not understand how a 32 year old mom of two is so obsessed but I totally am!!
Team Edward all the way!! However I might chance my mind when I see the movie as Taylor is definitely nice to look at.

I was really disappointed with the Twilight movie, they changed way too much from the book for my taste. Silly things to like them eating out instead of Bella cooking all the meals at home. I was really upset with Stephenie Meyer for letting them do it. I really hope New Moon stays closer to the book version. We will see and of course I will see it.

  19. Holy shit! No one reads fast enough to read those long books in 3 days! What the hell????? HOw did you absorb the story reading that fast? It's just not natural dammit!
Yes, I too love Twilight, but... I rarely, if ever, go to the movies, so I'll probably wait until it comes out on Demand. I know, pitiful. And DEFINITELY team EDWARD. OMG, I wanna lick him from head to toe.
